Telehealth Appointments For Current Patients
We have expanded our ability to connect with our current patients virtually with telehealth. Because of the pandemic, telehealth has become the “new norm” in all medical practices around the country. Your visit with us via telemedicine works much like a visit in person, only virtually, by using the camera on your computer or smartphone from the convenience of your own home.
We will see your child and answer any questions you may have on growth and development. We will give advice concerning illnesses and address any concerns you may have.
During normal office hours…
We advise you to call the office (757-473-3200) and we will gather some information and connect you with telemedicine as soon as we can. Our staff will speak to you about insurance coverage and copays and will collect any payments as needed.
When the office is closed…
You may call the Answering Service by dialing our general telephone number (757-473-3200) and they will message the doctor on-call. Please be patient and we will get to you.
After we start the session, please be aware that we may decide your child would be better served by coming into the office as some issues are not appropriate for telemedicine.
